Contract Packing

Here at Confex we are able to contract pack to various specifications using our baggers with fully automated weighers and printers. Set out below is an example of the parameters we work within:

Full colour own brand bags

Bag colours available:
1 to 7 colours

Design and origination costs:
Allow £140 per colour for origination then approx. £300 for artwork

Bag cost per kilo:
This varies depending on quantities ordered, but 100 kilos in 3 colours would be around £8 per kilo.

Digitally printed packaging...new to the market!

For substantially reduced quantities required, we can digitally print the bags which eliminates set up and origination charges. The price per bag will increase but you only need purchase much smaller quantities and so, reduce risk on new designs and projects. PLease ask us about this as every job is different.

Minimum Order of Bags

This is bought in by weight with a typical 100gram fill bag size yielding 500 bags per kilo.

The minimum order of film is 100 kilos, therefore the minimum order of bags is 50,000, to be packed as and when you require them, subject to minimum runs of 360 bags of each flavour.

Clear film bags

If you need a clear film bag with a specific weight of sweets to hit a specific price point we can do this.

We keep a stock of clear film so there would be no set-up cost.

We can also print the required weight, product title, ingredients, best before dates etc on the reverse of the bag.

This product can be hand labelled on the front with a personalised label.

The minimum quantity of one flavour (e.g. wine gums) is 360 bags
